Closing or pausing your account

How to downgrade, pause, or fully close a workspace, and what happens to your data afterward.

Whether you are wrapping up a project or just trimming costs between busy seasons, you have a few options short of leaving entirely.

Downgrade or pause

If you only need to cut spend, downgrade to a lower plan from Settings → Billing — your keys and webhooks keep working at the new limits. Some plans also support pausing, which stops billing while preserving your configuration.

Closing a workspace

An owner can close a workspace from Settings → Billing → Close workspace. We bill any outstanding usage, disable all keys, and stop every webhook.

What happens to your data

  • Export anything you need first — closing revokes API access immediately.
  • We retain account records as required for legal and tax purposes, then delete the rest on our standard schedule.
  • You can reopen by contacting support before the retention window ends.
